Course Descriptions & Syllabus
The nursery program is designed to encourage a balance of child initiated and teacher facilitated activities. This program offers children a variety of choices provided within a carefully prepared indoor and outdoor environment. The environment includes art, dramatic play, unit blocks, manipulative, cooking, language arts, books, music, computers, water and sand play, building of large structures, gardening, running, climbing, animal care, and a variety of large and small motor activities. Our goals include the encouragement of each child’s natural curiosity and interest in learning. it encourages the growth of independence and social awareness, sensory exploration, the development of physical skills and language development.We feel it is important for children to actively participate in the learning process, and therefore provide many opportunities for learning by doing, for both indirect and direct acquisition of new knowledge and skills and knowledge.
Alpha : ( English / Arabic )
Introduce letters of the alphabet and say it in alphabetical order, recognize the written letters encouraging children to link sounds and letters and to begin to read and write.
Giving children opportunities to possession of the proceeds of a rich language; to develop their confidence in expressing themselves; and to speak and listen in a range of situations
Mathematics:
Children’s mathematical understanding develops through active learning, play and exploration. They will learn how to count, order numbers and use mathematical language.
Recognize Shapes, colors and learn concepts.

Discover
Is a program will discuss themes such as Transportation, Animals & Farms, Colors, etc, containing toys and other media where the children can explore, discover and play.
Islamic Instruction( By Request )
Short verses in quran, Greetings in Islam, Values and behavior of Islam and Islamic practices
Media and methods used in activities includes

Children will watch specially developed movies according to research perception , which keeps the child stimulated while encouraging the child to scan for light and dark areas and focus on areas of contrast. and stimulate perception of form, face & color


Babies will hear music that stimulates baby’s highly developed sense of hearing through familiar, pleasant and relaxing classical music.


Babies look at brightly colored picture books designed to stimulate the child’s early interest in books introducing colors.


Children will be given the opportunity to develop their creativity, imagination, color/shape recognition and fine motor skills through arts & crafts where they can create their own pictures and designs using a variety of media.


Children will be given the opportunity to develop their analytical skill and fine motor skills through playing with wooden blocks and puzzles etc. These activities will encourage development of analysis such as identifying what is missing; and understanding differences and odd ones out.


Babies will play with toys and learning objects that stimulate:

  • The senses of touch, sight, sound
  • grasping and reaching out skills
  • hand-eye coordination




Children will be given the opportunity to develop their creativity, imagination, color/shape recognition and fine motor skills through playing with play dough.
